1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that are downloaded to the User's device (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.) when accessing certain web pages. These cookies allow a website, among other things, to store and retrieve information about the User's browsing habits or their equipment, and recognize them to improve their browsing experience and offer personalized content. Cookies cannot harm your device, and many of them are essential for the proper functioning of the website. Depending on their nature, cookies can collect different types of information, such as: • Pages visited, • Time spent in each section, • Links clicked, • Language preferences or technical configuration, • Anonymized IP address, among others. The use of cookies is regulated by Law 34/2002, of July 11, on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), as well as by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), when such cookies allow identification or make the User identifiable.

2. What types of cookies exist?

Cookies can be classified into different categories, according to various criteria:

a) According to the entity that manages them:

Own cookies:

These are those sent to the User's device from a domain managed by Clovr Labs, such as https://www.clovrlabs.com, and from which the requested service is provided.

Third-party cookies:

These are those sent from a domain or equipment managed by an entity other than Clovr Labs, such as analytical tools, social networks or external advertising services.

b) According to their purpose:

Technical or necessary cookies:

They allow the User to navigate through the website and use its basic functionalities, such as accessing secure areas, remembering sessions or managing cookie preferences. They do not require consent.

Personalization cookies:

They allow remembering information to personalize the User's experience (language, region, browser type). Consent may be necessary if they are not strictly necessary.

Analysis or measurement cookies:

They collect statistical and aggregated information about User behavior in order to improve site operation. Their use requires prior consent.

Behavioral advertising cookies:

They store information about the User's browsing habits to show personalized ads based on their interests. They require express consent.

c) According to the period of time they remain active:

Session cookies:

They are automatically deleted when closing the browser or leaving the website.

Persistent cookies:

They remain stored on the device for a certain period (defined by each cookie) and allow the information to be reused on subsequent visits.

4. Who uses the information collected by cookies?

The information collected through cookies used on the Clovr Labs Website may be processed by:

a) Clovr Labs (Clovr Labs, S.L.)

As editor and owner of the website, Clovr Labs uses own cookies to ensure the technical operation of the page, remember User preferences and obtain internal metrics of site use and performance.

b) Authorized third-party providers

Some cookies may be managed by third parties that provide services to Clovr Labs, such as web analytics tools (for example, Google Analytics), customer service solutions, or User experience personalization services. In such cases, said third parties may process the data for their own purposes, always within legally permitted limits, and subject to contracts that guarantee confidentiality, regulatory compliance and purpose limitation. The identity of these third parties and the details of the cookies they manage are available in the previous section ('What cookies do we use at Clovr Labs?') and may be updated based on technological evolution or services contracted by Clovr Labs. The User can obtain more detailed information about third-party privacy policies on their respective platforms, which can be accessed from the cookie configuration panel or the links enabled in this Policy.

5. How can users configure or deactivate cookies?

The User can manage their cookie preferences at any time through two complementary mechanisms:

a) From the configuration panel enabled by Clovr Labs

The Website incorporates a Privacy Preference Center, accessible from the initial cookie banner and permanently from the footer, in which the User can: • Accept or reject all cookies. • Accept only certain categories (analytics, personalization, etc.). • Withdraw previously granted consent. This panel meets the granularity and revocation requirements demanded by current regulations, and allows User choices to be respected and recorded through a technical cookie.

b) From browser settings

Likewise, the User can configure their browser to restrict, block or delete already installed cookies. The procedure varies depending on the browser used. Below are links to the official help pages of the main browsers: • Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647 • Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-cookies • Safari: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201265 • Microsoft Edge: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027947 Deactivating cookies may affect the functionality of the Website, preventing, where applicable, the use of certain features or personalized services.

6. Cookies exempt from consent

In accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), and with the guidelines of data protection control authorities, there are certain cookies that are exempt from the obligation to obtain prior User consent as they are considered technically necessary for the proper functioning of the Website. These cookies are:

Technical cookies:

Those that allow navigation through the website and the use of different options or services it offers, such as controlling traffic, identifying the session, accessing restricted access areas, remembering the elements that make up a form or using security elements during navigation.

Personalization cookies (limited):

Those that allow remembering User preferences (such as language or browser type) provided they are selected by the User themselves and are not used for additional purposes.

These cookies are installed by default when accessing the Website and do not require express User consent, although their existence and purpose must be clearly informed, as is done in this Cookie Policy. Any other cookie that does not meet these characteristics (such as analytics, advertising or performance measurement) will require prior informed consent, managed through the corresponding configuration panel.

7. Retention of data collected by cookies

Personal data obtained through the use of cookies on the Clovr Labs Website will be retained for a proportional and limited period, according to the following guidelines:

a) Duration of the cookie on the User's device

Each cookie installed in the browser has a specific lifespan (duration), which can be: • Session: automatically deleted when closing the browser. • Persistent: remain on the device for a certain time, defined by the editor or cookie provider. The complete list of cookies and their duration is available in the section 'What cookies do we use at Clovr Labs?' and in the configuration panel.

b) Retention period of personal data derived from cookie use

Personal data processed through cookies (for example, browsing data, preferences or analytics) will be retained only for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected, and never for a period exceeding 24 months, except for legal obligation or legitimate retention requirement. Once the purpose is fulfilled or the period expires, the data will be anonymized or securely deleted, unless the User grants new consent that enables additional use. Clovr Labs applies an active processing minimization policy, avoiding unnecessary or disproportionate collection of personal data through cookies and guaranteeing their use in accordance with GDPR principles.

8. International transfers derived from cookie use

Some of the cookies used on the Clovr Labs Website may be managed by providers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or that host their servers in third countries, which could imply an international transfer of personal data. In these cases, Clovr Labs guarantees that such transfer is carried out with full legal guarantees and in compliance with the provisions of Chapter V of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In particular, the following safeguards apply: • Existence of an adequacy decision by the European Commission regarding the destination country (art. 45 GDPR); • Subscription of standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission (art. 46.2.c GDPR); • Additional contractual commitments and privacy risk assessment, in compliance with the Schrems II case law. Third-party providers responsible for these cookies are trusted technology entities, such as Google LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., Intercom, or other analytics or technical support tools that Clovr Labs may use, whose privacy policies are available from the cookie configuration panel. At any time, the User may know if any cookie involves an international transfer and review the legal basis or applicable guarantees from the section 'What cookies do we use?' or by contacting us.

9. Acceptance, configuration and revocation of consent

The use of non-essential cookies on the Clovr Labs Website requires express, informed and verifiable User consent, in accordance with current regulations.

a) Acceptance and initial configuration

When accessing the Website for the first time, the User will see a cookie banner that: • Clearly informs about the existence and purpose of cookies. • Offers access to a granular configuration panel. • Allows accepting all cookies, rejecting all or configuring by categories. Acceptance will only be valid if the User has performed a clear positive action, such as clicking the 'Accept' button or marking the desired categories in the panel.

b) Preference management at any time

The User may modify or revoke their consent at any time through the Cookie Preference Center, permanently accessible from the website footer. This panel allows: • Consulting active cookies. • Changing authorized categories. • Withdrawing granted consent.

c) Configuration from the browser

Additionally, the User can manage cookies directly from their browser, including the possibility of deleting or completely blocking them. The procedure is described in the section 'How can users configure or deactivate cookies?'. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on prior consent, nor does it prevent the use of technical cookies necessary for site operation.

10. Cookie Policy Updates

Clovr Labs reserves the right to modify, update or revise this Cookie Policy at any time, whether for legal, technical, operational reasons or derived from changes in the cookies used on this website. When significant changes occur that affect consent or processing purposes, the User will be informed by: • Updating the content on this page, • A new consent request, if necessary, • And/or a clear notification in the cookie banner or through usual means. The User is recommended to periodically review this policy to stay informed about Clovr Labs' use of cookies and similar technologies. This Cookie Policy was last reviewed on: October 2025.
